About Us

The Northwest Regional Professional Development Center is a collaborative effort between Lewis-Clark State College, University of Idaho, and Washington State University and the educational consulting firm, Pacific Crest.

A core group of faculty including Steven Beyerlein (UI), Denny Davis (WSU), Don Elger (UI), and Holly Patterson-McNeill (LCSC) are assisting an expanding community of faculty seeking to "raise the bar" on their teaching performance and the success of their students. To this end, we sponsor development workshops focused on teaching, learning, mentoring, curriculum design, and assessment. A collaborator in this effort, Pacific Crest, has facilitated faculty development events for more than 12,000 faculty nationwide.
