Capstone Design Assessment
Engineering educators across the U.S. call for practical, effective assessments to measure student achievement in engineering design.
The goal of this project is to meet this need by creating a versatile system for reliable assessments of student learning outcomes for capstone design courses across engineering disciplines and institutions. Assessment tools will be developed by a multi-institution faculty team with input from a diverse set of expert consultants and stakeholders. Phase 2 of this project is to develop assessment instruments, adoption strategies, and facutly resources for effective, sustainable use of capstone engineering design assessments.
